Justin Boots Womens Gypsy Boot Review

Western boots are frequently purchased as a fashion item rather than for sitting on horseback, and most of them can’t stand up to the rigors of life in the stirrups.

Ariat Women’s ProBaby Boots are notable exceptions. Women buy them not only for their great looks, but also because they are tough enough to handle the wear and tear of being ridden in. Dismount, wipe them off, and you have your fashion accessory again.

“They don’t rub the sides of your legs the way many cowgirl boots do”

Because they don’t rub the sides of your legs the way many cowgirl boots do, they are an excellent choice if you want to use your ProBabys for their original function of Western style riding. The stirrup-friendly ProCrepe™ outsole absorbs energy, and assists correct posture and gait motion while walking.

If you’re out on the trails with your horse, you need never worry about the discomfort of having to dismount and walk in your ProBaby boots. Thanks to their Advanced Torque Stability (ATS) Technology and the properly high arch in the heel area, your feet are supported and cushioned when walking. You will be less fatigued and your boots will feel as comfortable at the end of your trek as they were at the beginning.

One big advantage of these boots is that they have a minimal break-in time, and the inner design, plus their crepe soles, help the rider to keep a good grip in the stirrups. They are a perfect fit, and for teenage girls whose feet are still growing, you can remove the "booster bed" ─ an extra layer affixed under the foot bed. This provides more "wiggle room" and allows the boots to be worn over their full lifetime, instead of having to be replaced because they are outgrown. Some people report wearing their ProBabys for as long as seven years before needing a new pair! Another benefit to these high performance boots is how well they cope with poor ground conditions that ruin footwear of lesser quality. You can walk in water, mud or snow and they still look awesome. Made to last Ariat ProBabys give you the feeling that you can tackle anything in them! These boots are extremely durable, one of the reasons they are so popular with Western riders. Once you find really comfortable and attractive boots for riding, it’s heartbreaking to have to search for their replacements. With Ariat ProBabys you don’t have to worry about purchasing another pair of boots for years. And when that time comes, you know where to get them! The uppers are made of leather, and stitched in the traditional…

Booted and Suited for the Barn

When my husband bought me my first horse, little did he know how much time I would be spending at the barn (even though I did J).

It was very exciting to have my own equine, having lusted after one for so many years. Naturally I wanted to spend a lot of time with him, and wasn’t going to change out of my smart work clothes before visiting the barn simply to say ‘hello’ to him on his days off.

I also liked to greet him as soon as I arrived at the barn to ride, and I didn’t want to exchange my accountant’s outfit for equestrian gear before giving him that first kiss on the nose.

So I would happily walk in high heels through the mud to give him a kiss while also wearing my best white silk blouse.

When my husband realized I was doing this he sat me down and asked nicely if I would please show my expensive clothes more respect. Could I put on appropriate horse attire before hugging my horse?

Since the aforementioned silk blouse had not fared well when my horse snorted all over it, and the heels on my satin shoes were ruined after a bout with horse manure, I was forced to accept his point. I agreed to change clothes.

However, a pair of good womens western boots like the Ariat Women’s ProBaby Boots which would have instantly taken care of my footwear problem: I could have worn them to work and to the barn without risking any damage to them.

Summary

This is the perfect boot for Western riding, yet it looks stylish at outdoor events and any occasion where you need to do a lot of walking.
